About this speaker

Bianca Barnett-Harris is a dedicated advocate, healer, and emerging public policy leader committed to advancing mental health, environmental justice, and community wellness. In her role as AmeriCorps Coordinator at the University of Pittsburgh, she has expanded access to mental health resources and led advocacy efforts rooted in holistic well-being. 

With over a decade of experience as a Natural Healing Practitioner at Cultural Oasis Healing Space and Apothecary, Bianca blends traditional and earth-based healing with contemporary wellness practices. She also serves as Processing Lead for the Environmental Justice Table, where she supports equitable environmental decision-making and mobilizes community-driven solutions. 

Currently pursuing a medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh, Bianca is also independently studying constitutional law, state law, and public policy. Her work bridges ancestral knowledge and civic engagement to champion health equity, legal empowerment, and environmental stewardship.
