About this speaker
Chris Garland is the Community Development Manager at the National Community Stabilization Trust (NCST), where he supports a diverse network of nonprofits, land banks, and local governments. A seasoned urban planner with more than 20 years of experience, Chris has led citywide initiatives and neighborhood revitalization efforts across the country. Prior to joining NCST, he served as Assistant Director of the Cleveland City Planning Commission and Commissioner of Neighborhood Development, where he oversaw Cleveland’s Land Bank program. He holds a master’s in urban planning from Wayne State University.
