Fred Brown leads The Forbes Fund, building on decades of work in education, community development, and systems innovation. As former CEO of Homewood Children’s Village, Fred developed programs like the Innovation Lab and 2Gen Approach, aimed at intergenerational sustainability and leadership. His initiatives span environmental justice, urban leadership, and nonprofit transformation. A graduate of IUP and Pitt, Fred is also a member of the Club of Rome and serves on numerous local and global boards.
