Jala Rucker is Co-Chair of the Pittsburgh Housing Justice Table and serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Commissioners for the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh. She also works as Education Outreach Manager at RentHelpPGH and organizes tenants with the Pittsburgh Union of Regional Renters. A public housing resident, Jala led efforts to establish a tenant council in Manchester, securing the long-term public status of her apartment complex.
