About this speaker
Jennifer Flanagan is the founder and Executive Director of Community Kitchen Pittsburgh (CKP), a nonprofit culinary training and employment social enterprise. Since 2013, Jennifer has led CKP in opening career pathways for individuals facing employment barriers, while using food as a tool for empowerment and community connection. Over 60% of CKP’s operating budget is generated through its social enterprises, which also serve as hands-on training sites. Jennifer is Chair of the Board for Catalyst Kitchens — a national network of culinary training programs — and Deputy Chair of Food 21, an organization focused on food-centered community development. She brings over 25 years of experience in nonprofit social enterprise leadership.
