Tammy T. Thompson is a nationally recognized poverty expert, social justice advocate, and storyteller whose work is grounded in lived experience. As President and CEO of Catapult Greater Pittsburgh, she leads innovative strategies to dismantle systemic barriers and build generational wealth in historically excluded communities. Tammy is also the founder of T3 Media and T3 Consulting, producing social justice media and delivering financial education, housing counseling, and empowerment programs.
Her signature workshop, The Psychology of Poverty (POP), explores the emotional and psychological impacts of poverty, while her documentary We Wear the Mask addresses the stigma surrounding women in poverty. A certified housing counselor and respected speaker, Tammy serves as board chair of Rising Tide Partners and continues to champion transformative change through economic justice and community empowerment.
